Day One is the episode where Mr Bean makes a sandwich while sitting on a park bench. For the craft, students cut out pictures of things used in the sandwich, glue them in order onto construction paper and label them.

Day Two, Mr Bean Gets a Haircut, our vocab focuses on words for appearance. Teams write the answer to a question on their whiteboard. If they are correct, one student picks a card from a bag on which is a term like hair, ear, nose, etc. The winners are the first team to complete the face--the trick is if you already have "nose" and pull the nose card again, too bad.

On Day Four, we watched Mind the Baby, Mr Bean, which takes place in a "fun fair". Students design their own amusement park:

For each day, I also do a small presentation about some aspect of England/UK. Today, Friday, we learned a little bit about Stonehenge and students made their own Stonehenge models with wood blocks I borrowed from the supply room. I went through some difficulty in finding a suitable map to use as the base (joined a website called Twinkl), enlarged and cut up the graphic from their kit, and made them assemble sheets A to D correctly before placing/playing with the blocks. As you can see, they did really well:

BTW, this Twinkl is also where I got the paper models they will use next week to make an iconic London landmark--stay tuned.
